Peer Pressure

After much prodding from friends, I've decided to try my hand at Warhammer Fantasy.  I'm not wild about block troops as it takes away from the 'individuality' potential of each models (with the exception of the characters).  But I figure that while I'm waiting for the next Imperial codex to release, why not give it a try.

I've chosen High Elves to get started.  I do have the Island of Blood set, so I'm sure I'll pull models from there, but I'm going to start small with a legal list and see how well I can learn the game.

For starters, I'm going with:

Mage - lvl 2, Ring of Fury

Lothern Sea Healm on foot w/ a Shield of the Merwyrm

10 Lothern Sea Guard w/ shields and full command
10 Lothern Sea Guard w/ shields and full command
10 Shadow Warriors w/ Shadow-walker armed w/ a Reaver Bow

Lothern Skycutter w/ Eagle Claw Bolt Thrower

This hovers right around the 850 point mark.  Not a 1,000 point list, but I'm just getting started.  I do have a box of Shadow Warriors that I received as a gift and two sets of Lothern Sea Guard.  All that's left to is to pick up a Mage kit and a Skycutter which includes the Sea Helm model.

Blood Angels Update

I've been very, very busy now that spring has finally arrived here in the midwest, but I have been dedicating some time to my Blood Angels.  I've compiled a small 750 point list and am nearly done building all of the models.  I finished building the second tactical squad yesterday and tonight I'll start on the finally unit, a Predator tank.
